DESCRIPTION: This is the 37-mile course for the 3F Century. One rest stop at 19 miles. Restrooms at each rest stop.
The 37-mile course follows the Sacramento River south, then turns east on Pass Road. At the 10-mile mark, the course turns south gently, making its way east, then north to the town of Sutter for the rest stop located at Sutter High School. The course follows Pass Road back to Colusa. Riders will pass a historical monument marking the site where General John Fremont rested his troops in the summer of 1847. Pass Road takes you over the only elevation gain of any of the courses. Pass Road rises about 200 feet, and after cresting the top, you experience a two-mile roller coaster ride back to the Sacramento River and your return to Colusa.
